More… The Energy Incentive Grant Program is intended to encourage and assist City residents and businesses to reduce their carbon footprint and adopt energy conservation practices in accordance with Goal F of the City's Strategic Plan. Funding for the Program is awarded on a first come, first served basis while funding lasts. The Program will reimburse awarded applicants on eligible improvements up to $3,000 or 50% of the cost of improvements, whichever is less. No one applicant may receive more than $10,000 within a 5-year period from the Program. Eligible improvements located on either residential or commercial properties within the City of Wilton Manors include Solar Photovoltaic Systems, ENERGY STAR® HVAC systems, ENERGY STAR® Cool Roofs, and ENERGY STAR® heat pump or solar water heaters. Applicants must provide three quotes, obtain all required permits, use a licensed contractor, and have no outstanding code violations, fees, taxes, fines, or liens owed to the City of Wilton Manors.Less…

Well informed citizens, who have an awareness of the mission, resources, policies and services of their Police Department are critical to the success of this partnership. Many topics will be addressed in the academy and will include: Active Killer, Hands-only CPR, DUI Enforcement, Drug Trafficking, K9, Detective Bureau & Special Investigations, Road Patrol Operations, and much more.
