   Thank you for your being our eyes and ears in the community. Your Island City attentiveness helps us address concerns and maintain the standards that make Wilton Manors home. Per Florida Statute 166.0415(1)(b) Code Compliance Officers in Florida are prohibited from investigating anonymous complaints. Under this law, all tipsters making a complaint must leave at minimum their name and address, before an investigation occurs. Officers still have the authority to investigate anonymous complaints they deem to be an “imminent threat to public health, safety, or welfare, or imminent destruction of habitat or sensitive resources."
