If you are unable to find the information you need online or prefer to speak with someone directly, this webpage will assist you with finding the right number for the right situation.

Our Information Line is available for general questions, guidance, and non-urgent assistance that does not require a police response. This line helps connect residents, business owners, and visitors with the appropriate personnel or resources within our department.  The hours of operation for our professional staff ready to answer your call and assist at this number are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 6:00 pm.

General Department Information and Guidance
The Wilton Manors Police Department Information Line will assist with general department questions, including office hours and location, how to contact a specific unit, officer, or investigator, and information about police services or community programs. Callers can also receive guidance on how to properly file certain reports or complete required forms if you need.

Public Records
Members of the public may contact our agency for public records requests for many reasons, including obtaining copies of police reports or crash reports related to an incident they were involved in or witnessed, fulfilling insurance or legal requirements, requesting documentation for employment, licensing, or personal records, or reviewing non-confidential records as part of Florida’s public records and transparency laws. The Information Line can assist with questions about the public records process, what information is required, and how to submit a request. Criminal Investigations
Need to speak with a detective about an ongoing investigation, follow-up on a case, or have information relevant to a criminal investigation, you can call the Wilton Manors Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit through our general contact resources or directly reach the detectives listed on our official contact page. Detectives are available to assist with follow-ups once a case has been initiated and are part of the department’s investigative team handling issued cases. Code Compliance Unit
Members of our Island City community may also contact the Wilton Manors Police Department to be connected with the Code Compliance Unit for non-emergency code-related matters. Traffic and Administrative Inquiries
The Police Department's general information line can assist with traffic and administrative questions such as inquiries about traffic citations, vehicle release or impound information, and general guidance regarding road closures or planned special events. These matters do not require an immediate police response and can be handled through administrative assistance.

DO NOT Call this Number When...
The Wilton Manors Police Department General Information Line should not be used for emergencies or situations requiring an immediate police response. If a crime is in progress, someone is in danger, or medical or fire assistance is needed, callers should dial 9-1-1 immediately. For non-emergency situations where police assistance is needed on scene, such as reporting a delayed crime or suspicious activity requiring officer response, callers should use the Non-Emergency number at 954-764-4357 (HELP). Using the appropriate phone number helps ensure timely and effective service for the community.

Using the Right Phone Number for the Right Situation
For general questions, guidance, public records assistance, or help being directed to the appropriate unit or personnel, residents are encouraged to contact the Wilton Manors Police Department General Information Line at 954-390-2150. This line is intended for non-urgent matters that do not require an officer to be dispatched. Call 911 for emergencies or in-progress incidents that pose an immediate threat to life or property. For situations that are not emergencies but still require police assistance or an on-scene response, residents should contact the Non-Emergency number. Understanding the purpose of each phone number helps ensure calls are handled efficiently and allows emergency responders to prioritize urgent situations.
