Code Fine/Fee Payment & Requests for Administrative Hearing

This page looks to assist those who are under a Special Magistrate order to pay a code violation fine, fee or lien, and to facilitate payment for a fine associated with a Uniform Civil Citation.  For those who have been issued a Uniform Civil Citation by a police or code compliance officer, and you wish to request an administrative hearing, the below option will help you navigate this process.  Thank you!

PAY A CODE FINE/FEE
If you are under an order of the special magistrate to pay a fine, fee, or lien related to a code violation, you are required to make payment as directed in the Final Order. Additionally, if you were issued a uniform civil citation by a police officer or code compliance officer, there is a fine associated with your citation. Please remember that in both instances, your case is not closed until you make payment and receive written confirmation from our code staff declaring your case closed. To pay a fine or fee via the City's online portal, click HERE.  Once directed to this page please make the following selections:

  • Select "Miscellaneous Payments and Donations".
  • Select payment type as "Code Compliance Fine" or "Code Administrative Fee".

Payments may also be made in person or via U.S. mail to City Hall, 2020 Wilton Drive, Wilton Manors, FL 33305.  Our business hours are Monday - Thursday, 7:00 am - 6:00 pm.  


REQUEST AN ADMINISTRATIVE HEARING  (Uniform Civil Citations ONLY)
Individuals who have been issued a uniform civil citation for a violation of the City's Code of Ordinances may request an administrative hearing. Written notice of one's request shall be received by the City within ten (10) calendar days of receiving a citation. Additionally, those seeking an administrative hearing shall submit an administrative fee payment of $225 to the City prior to the Special Magistrate hearing your case. Individuals who prevail at this hearing will be reimbursed the entire administrative fee amount. Please know, if you fail to show up for the hearing, your case will still be heard by the Special Magistrate with a ruling being made, and a final order being issued. Should the City prevail in the administrative hearing, you will be responsible for payment of all fines and fees as ordered by the Special Magistrate, and you will be ineligible for a re-hearing.
