Chair Volleyball

Chair volleyball has many health benefits, including developing hand-eye coordination, building upper body strength, and improving muscle tone and endurance. The sport builds camaraderie and teamwork and reduces stress. But most of all its just a lot of fun.

Brains and Balance

Our "Brains and Balance Past 60" program is designed for the unique needs of active older adults who know the importance of staying mentally sharp and physically stable. This innovative program is a clever combination of specific activities designed to improve your memory, reasoning, conceptualization, language and problem solving skills along with age appropriate exercise to improve stability. Discover how much fun "Brains & Balance" training can be while you exercise your mind and body with our specially designed curriculum.

Chair Yoga Empower Hour & Sound Therapy

Empower Hour is designed to increase balance and flexibility, improve muscle toning and strength, help manage chronic conditions and reduce pain. Chair Yoga can also boost your mood and well-being. Sound therapy helps heal the mind and body through music, tones, frequencies and vibrations.

Join us for our Senior Craft Creation Series, a fun and engaging program designed to spark creativity, encourage connection and explore a variety of hands on art & craft projects. Each session features a different activity, offering seniors the chance to try something new and express themselves. Experienced crafter or just curious to try, all skill levels are welcome.

Senior Trips

Join us for our Senior Trips, a fun and engaging way to explore new destinations, enjoy meaningful experiences, and connect with others. Each trip features a different outgoing, offering seniors the opportunity to discover local attractions. Registration can be completed in person at our office in Hagen Park or through our online payment system Webtrac.

Senior Transportation Program

The Wilton Manors Leisure Services Department offers affordable transportation for residents aged 60 and older. This program provides roundtrip services to doctor appointments, pharmacies, and local grocery stores.

  • Tuesdays: Medical appointments and pharmacy visits within a 5-mile radius.
  • Wednesdays: Grocery shopping trips 2-mile radius, with available supermarkets including Publix, Aldi, Sprouts Farmers Market, Whole Foods Market, and Bravo Supermarket. 

Transportation is available during the following times:

  • Medical Appointments: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM
  • Grocery Trips: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Cost: $2 per roundtrip. 

Reservations: Required at least 24 hours in advance.
